As a trader, how did you solve the issue

As a merchant, I add many products to the store, but after a while, I find that the selling price and the cost become the same value. I don't know if the website itself intentionally does this to us, or if someone tells me it's due to discounts, because even when I discount the price, I calculate it to be higher than the cost. Has this happened to anyone? If you don't mind, tell me how you solved it.
